Brief Session Description : This session will review applications of advanced cardiac rehabilitation across the continuum of care, including chronic heart disease, pre-operative and postoperative periods, and finally long-term management. Important learning points will focus on updates in surgical practices, medical management, rehabilitation interventions, the role of physiatry, as well as medical and functional outcomes. This session will be primarily case-based to engage the learner in critical thinking and anchor learning points in a clinical context.
