Brief Session Description : This session aims to review treatments and therapeutic evidence for a common etiology of low back pain, sacroiliac joint pain, which is commonly seen by PM&R physicians in an MSK and pain medicine practice. The session will facilitate a discussion of a treatment algorithm among panelists and audience participation, since an evidence-based treatment algorithm is currently lacking. The session aims to educate clinicians about treatments for SI joint pain, and options used in clinical practice when interventions are denied insurance payor coverage.
