Nahir Henry, MHA, PT is the Administrator for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She has over 25 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist and has spent the last 15+ years in progressive leadership roles.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1999 and later obtained a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX. Her clinical operational experience has been in large hospital systems including Memorial Hermann Health System, Texas Children’s Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Her journey to sound leadership began with Texas Children’s Hospital as a Therapy Manager in ambulatory and later, as a Health Center Manager for subspecialty pediatric practice management in early 2008. She transitioned to HCA Healthcare in 2013 where she developed a strong foundation for inpatient acute rehabilitation management, business operations, and quality health care processes.
She transitioned to Johns Hopkins in 2023, where she now partners with Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Health System on collaborative clinical, quality, and operational leadership teams. Her passion is in healthcare quality and developing others. She is the proud mother of three girls and resides in Laurel, Maryland with her husband of 22 years, Darian.
In her spare time, Nahir enjoys event planning, performing workout challenges, and arranging beautiful flowers for those that need a smile on a rainy day!
