Radha Korupolu, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and serves as Service Chief of Spinal Cord Medicine and Clinical Chief of Respiratory Services at TIRR Memorial Hermann. She is a clinician-scientist specializing in spinal cord injury (SCI), with a focus on respiratory management, ventilator weaning strategies, neuromodulation, and improving functional recovery after SCI.

Dr. Korupolu leads multiple funded clinical trials evaluating ventilator strategies and innovative neuromodulation interventions to enhance motor and respiratory recovery. Her work integrates clinical care, translational research, and stakeholder engagement to improve long-term outcomes and quality of life for individuals living with SCI
