Gregory de Gruchy M.D. Associate Director UConn Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program, Assistant Professor of Medicine UConn School of Medicine, Board Certified Physician of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hartford Healthcare Medical Group.

Dr. de Gruchy is the Associate Program Director for the UConn PM&R residency program. Dr. de Gruchy practices in general rehabilitation in Connecticut with a focus on outpatient spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and prosthetics/amputee. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. de Gruchy is also a founding member of the Connecticut Veteran's with Disability Task force that works with the CT legislature on veteran's health issues and was recently awarded the Trailblazer award from the Connecticut General assembly for his work in veteran's health. Additionally Dr. de Gruchy is a member of Dreaming and Working Together, a non-profit NGO working in Lima Peru to treat amputee and rehabilitation patients as well as develop local rehabilitation capabilities.
