Ian B. Maitin MD, MBA
Dr. Maitin moved to the NMI at Rowan Virtua School of Medicine from Temple University where he had served as Department Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Residency Program Director of the Temple-Moss PM&R Program. He is the chief editor of the textbook Current Diagnosis and Treatment: PM&R, and has authored multiple chapters on pain, spasticity and rehabilitation. His interests are electrodiagnostics, spasticity management, musculoskeletal medicine, low back pain, and neurorehabilitation. Dr. Maitin strives to improve the function and quality of life of his patients. He is a proponent of Exercise as Medicine and is a strong advocate of fitness and exercise to promote health and well-being.
