Carol M. Greco, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is a licensed psychologist with research and clinical expertise in behavioral and psychosocial treatments for chronic pain and symptoms of chronic illness. Dr. Greco and her research teams have developed patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures to assess patient's perspectives on their treatment and overall well-being using PROMIS instrument development methodology. Dr. Greco uses mind-body methods such as mindfulness meditation, relaxation training, and cognitive-behavioral therapy when working with people who suffer with pain and other symptoms.
