MedStar/Georgetown - NRH PM&R Residency Program
Dr. Susan Li, MD, is a PGY1 PM&R resident at MedStar/Georgetown - NRH. As a medical student, Susan had worked under the guidance and support of Dr. Neil Segal at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her research with Dr. Segal mainly focused on examining the value of weight-bearing CT and its evolving role in assessing lower limb osteoarthritis. She has been able to present their research at numerous conferences, including the International Workshop on Osteoarthritis Imaging (IWOAI), OARSI World Congress, AAPM&R Annual Assembly, and Physiatry '24. In addition to her research, she served as president of the KUSOM PM&R Student Interest Group for 2 years, vice president of the KUSOM Sports Medicine Student Interest Group, and vice president of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association: APAMSA. Currently, her specific interests within PM&R are TBI, pain medicine, and sports medicine. She is very passionate about the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is looking forward to engaging with and learning from the PM&R community at Physiatry '26.
