Hasna Romaine Tiu-Lim, MD, a Diplomate of the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine, is the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ramiro Community Hospital in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. She is an active Medical Consultant at several hospitals in Bohol, including Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center, Allied Care Medical Experts Hospital, and Holy Name University Hospital. She also serves as a Visiting Medical Consultant at Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital in Ubay and provides community-based rehabilitation services at Garcia Memorial Provincial Hospital in Talibon, extending specialty care to geographically distant and underserved areas of Bohol.
Dr. Lim completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Philippine Orthopedic Center in Quezon City, where she served as Chief Resident in 2023. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Family Life and Child Development from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
She has contributed to research in neurorehabilitation and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, presenting her work at national and international conferences, including the European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology and the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine, where her work received recognition.
Through her clinical, research, and community work, Dr. Lim is committed to advancing PM&R education, expanding access to rehabilitation services, and contributing to the global development of the field, particularly in resource-limited settings.
