Dan Cushman, M.D., is an associate professor at the University of Utah Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is the director of non-operative sports medicine research. He is board-certified in both Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and specializes in musculoskeletal ultrasound, electrodiagnostics, and endurance sports-specific injuries. He serves as the team physician for the University of Utah Track & Field and Cross-Country teams and is also the team physician for the University of Utah Swimming & Diving teams. His research interests include sports epidemiology and musculoskeletal ultrasound for the treatment/prevention of musculoskeletal disorders.
