Dr. Ng is an assistant professor of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Ng has maintained a lifelong interest in the relationship between exercise, nutrition and health. Her research focuses on the impact of lifestyle interventions and physical activity on disease prevention and treatment. She has a special interest in developing better treatment plans for cancer-related malnutrition, venous thromboembolism and cancer-related spinal cord injuries. Since joining the MD Anderson faculty, Dr. Ng has worked to help patients with cancer use exercise to restore physical functioning, improve quality-of-life and prevent cancer recurrence.
