His work emphasizes how automobile-centered infrastructure including high-speed roadways, unsafe street design, and limited pedestrian and cycling protections contributes to pediatric traumatic brain injury and health inequities. Dr. Fisher plans to pursue a career in academic pediatric rehabilitation medicine with a focus on advocacy, prevention, and systems-level approaches to improving outcomes for all children.
