Chengchong “CC” Ai, MD, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Ai received her medical degree in China and completed her PhD in regenerative medicine at the National University of Singapore, where she specialized in musculoskeletal biomaterials and tissue engineering. Her research focuses on translational osteoarthritis and regenerative rehabilitation, including epigenetic regulation, cartilage–synovium crosstalk, and biomaterial-based osteochondral repair.
