Brief Session Description : Translational medicine bridges the gap between scientific discovery and clinical application, requiring multidisciplinary collaboration. This session, led by a multidisciplinary panel of experts will explore strategies for advancing translational research in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). Through case studies in Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, Myotonic Dystrophy, and Autism Spectrum Disorders, attendees will gain insights into team-building, regulatory navigation, and functional outcome integration. A panel discussion will address challenges and future directions in the field. This session provides a roadmap for researchers to implement effective, patient-centered translational medicine approaches in PM&R.
