Dr. Kristina M. Kelly, PT, DPT, MS, EdM, NCS, CPT, PES is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri (MU). As a member of Neuro-Muscular Labs, a translational neuroscience research group at MU, her clinical research program is dedicated to investigating the physiological mechanisms underlying weakness and fatigue in aging and disease using a suite of advanced neurophysiological techniques, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, decomposition electromyography, single-fiber electromyography, and interpolated twitch technique. She has over a decade of experience conducting investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials in diverse populations such as stroke, ALS, spinal muscular atrophy, charcot marie tooth disease, myasthenia gravis, myotonic dystrophy, fascioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, duchenne muscular dystrophy, inclusion body myositis, Pompe disease, and older adults. Board-certified in Neurology Physical Therapy, Dr. Kelly's clinical practice is focused on multidisciplinary care delivered in MU's ALS Association and Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinics.
